1930s Japan White Porcelain Phoenix Blue and White Custard Cup. 1921-1940 The cups have a dark cobalt blue pattern on white porcelain of 2 phoenix birds with 4 spots on breasts, looking over their left shoulders, with a traditional pattern of Kiku (chrysanthemum flowers) and Kiri (Paulownia plants) with vines and leaves flowing from them surrounding the phoenix birds. The cloud and mountain border surrounds the cups’ exterior and interior top rims. The cups have the “Hei” trademark, “Japan” back stamp. SOLD SEPARATELY Dimensions: 2.5 x 2.5 in.
